WIP's & PIX
Since I last updated my blog in mid September have had lots going on. First off I went to the Merritt Spinning Retreat October 17-19 and as usual a good time and one of my yearly highlites. Cindy did and excellent job finding a place for us to meet, the Best Western in Merritt, had use of their multi purpose room, was tight but we all fit. Gave Cindy (for all she did) her choice of mild or wild, she chose wild and the gloves fit her perfectly.
Now to the many WIP's I have going. The garbage hauling neighbours get socks for the grands, this is the boys pair, the blue pr. for his sister are finished. They also got a pair of shorties each.
And lastly my much loved Koigu gloves. Just started on this pair yesterday, its hard to not keep going on them to just see how the Koigu colours work out. The 6 skeins of orange Koigu are some I'd been waiting on for some time, ordered just before Canada post went on strike AGAIN. Gloves from the Orange are definitely the most popular colour that I do.
Also in this last little while had the pressure tank on water pump replaced, then the thermo coupler on the propane furnace (was without the use of furnace for prolly 2 weeks), had the electric baseboard heaters going full blast during that time, glad now to have furnace going again, also the kitchen faucet was leaking (age and hard water) did it in, also replaced. Audra and I split the cost of house repairs.
The mountains I see looking south west . After 50+ years never get tired of the view.
Please leave a comment so I know who is still reading the neglected blog.
