Travels and such

Spent the last weekend of March at Ridge Rock resort in Princeton, BC, semi annual spinning retreat.  Went early and stayed at Gail & Scot's place in Princeton, they gave up their ground floor bedroom so I wouldn't have to do the stairs, above and beyond. Thank you guys.

The retreat was at a new to the group place, lots of room, bedrooms were nice and lounge area on our  floor was great. Only disadvantage was the drive, close to 8 hours for me, prolly  wouldn't try  it again if the group goes back. On the drive there had a shimmying at speeds over 80 KM  took  car into Kal Tire in  Princeton, they   came  and told me it  was just  dried  mud  in  wheels, cleaned  wheels  and  told   me  I  was  good to go, no charge.  Pays to deal with a  reputable  place.

Only thing I bought were mini skeins of sock  yarn from Smith and Ewe.

Koigu  bed sock  that I  was working on at Gail's and in lounge after spinning shut down  for the evening. Second sock will be the same colours but in  different places. Fraternal.

Grass is slowly starting to show up a bit of green,  its still freezing most nights so things are a bit slow
